Addle Liqueur[]
A product of the Werner family orchard , the drink that would come to be known as "Werner's Original" was made to order for generations by the nobility of Yggdrazil and was a staple of social gatherings. In 3200, Tatsuo and Sultana Werner expanded the production and distribution while adding the name and branding in an effort to raise both the profile and the capital of their family. To keep down production costs and maximize profit, Werner's Original is sold in deliberately limited quantities and marketed as an item for the elite even among nobility. Marketing also claims that each addle used in production is harvested telekinetically and never touched by human hands, picked at the perfect moment of ripeness by precognition. This is a lie.
The drink itself is a potent liqueur made from addles and shares much of the fruit's flavor experience, beginning sweet but with a sour after taste, accompanied by a satisfying alcoholic burn. It also shares the unique purple hue. While it is excellent as a mixer with other more harsh alcohols, it is meant to be enjoyed straight.
