A sub-sect of the Church of Humanity Repentant, the Soul ex Sol is the amalgamation of several primal religions, sects and cults built around the worshiping the Sun and other celestial phenomena. An abstract idea of all the stars that help create and sustain life in their systems. They claim that since these heavenly bodies help form and create life, they are the energy force behind the Soul that connect all born of the stars. It has small, but adamant communities all over the sector.
Origins[]
Since time immemorial, Humanity have looked to the Stars in wonder. These celestial phenomena produce the light that brings life. For centuries holy days and rituals have been created around the cycle of the Star of a Planet.
On Haqani during the Dark Age, and the hundred year of bare minimum of communications, the sect found new footing amongst the star-charters and pilots who every day were left to the whim of the Stars, and has been a mainstay among the spacers living around Haqani. Though these people might hold different views than the CHR at large and thus the more popular sect usually encountered.
Beliefs and Practices[]
The Soul ex Sol practice a ritual meditation at midday, basking in the light of the nearest Star.
Most believe in an individualist repentence, and helping others to their understanding through showing example, even though, communal meditations are held often.
Many followers have a very strong scientific view of the world, and mostly participate in the meditations for their proven benefit for mental health, and think the Soul is just a fancy word for conciousness.
Wherever the Soul ex Sol can be found, so can celebrations of solstices for that planet.. A celebration of the longest day called the 'stella vivere' and a mourning of the shortest day called 'stella mortuus'.
Most of the Soul ex Sol follows the Ten Virtues, though they value Wisdom, Justice, Charity and Hope the most.
They have many assorted mantras for different times of the day, and different phases of the moons, as they hold great sanctity as well, as they are reflectors of the Light.

A few associated scholars claim that the Alaa'ri actually live in the stars. They are, quite fairly, considered insane. Most go blind staring into the stars, waiting for subtle fluctuations to be translated.
