The PLF are a paramilitary group within the UPC working to grant all planets within the sector their own governance. Made up of mostly anarchist that wish to pull down the imperialist from any from of control over any planet. Low key into techwear.
Ideology[]
At it’s core, the PLF take inspiration from philosophical ideas such as individual anarchism and libertarianism. By right, an individual deserves complete autonomy; bodily, spiritually and economically.
Free will is a central question in PLF politics. Religion, morality, ideology and social customs can never be regulated by outside forces, with the exception of harmful actions. Any form of hierarchal government is considered tyranny, however; laws protecting individual freedom and safety is essential. As such, any laws or actions suppressing free will is prohibited, as long as individuals don’t use their freedom to oppress their kin. Under no circumstances is it allowed to undermine another’s self-governance or right to live.
Even through it’s anti-hierarchal agenda, the PLF encourages a free, mostly unregulated market. Because of it’s core stance on ultimate freedom, an individual is well within their rights to privately own companies. This, of course, should never be at the expense of egalitarianism. In order to prevent class structures from mega-corporations the PLF actively supports and encourages small-scale companies.
Because of the PLF’s belief in each individual’s ultimate right to safety and freedom, they would not normally advocate military actions. However, it is believed that feudalism - and those who rule - is a crime against human rights. Therefore, drastic measures need to be taken in order to prevent any further proletarian suffering.
Organization[]
The PLF helps build and support several nationalist/planetist organizations seeking to establish planetary autonomy for themselves outside of the control of the empire. These include:
- Eurynoc Independence League (EIL)
- People for an Independant Berkmann III (PIB)
- The Silent Renaissance (SR) (Pamita Cha)
