Corp Cant

Aside from the common Imperial language of Acheron Rho, there exists a common trade language shared by stockbrokers, bankers, bureaucrats, and anyone heavily involved in sector finance and deal-making. Developed through the contact between financial traders, a precise word choice and efficient grammar emerged as a robust dialect, which many refer to as a distinct language: Corp Cant. After the Scream when the heavily bureaucratic factions began establishing trade and rebuilding the economy of Acheron Rho, a formalized version of the language emerged. Today many corporate factions such as The Trilliant Ring as well as House Eridanus employ the use of Corp Cant to ensure accuracy. Much like other forms of legalese, the language can be used to hide and obfuscate intentions to outsiders to markets corporate finance.

Much of the vernacular is abbreviated references to the convoluted tax code and trade laws, or euphemisms relating to them, causing Corp Cant to sound like a mix of CB radio number codes and cockney rhyming slang to the untrained ear.
