When a Crafter creates a piece so spectacular that many of House Reticulum revere and all respect this item then it is enshrined at the Shrine of the Mahati Astra. The piece becomes revered and it is viewed as so perfect that its power must be preserved until a time befitting of its use. The finest of Reticulum artwork. This crafter then becomes the representative of the crafters until the creation of another Mahati Astra. Many of these pieces never actually see usage simply because an appropriate situation does not arise and instead the building acts as a sort of art gallery/ temple/palace to the splendor of House Reticulum. When the time does arise an Astradhari is chosen and they are the ones who wield this weapon.
However, due to the long and arduous nature of creating such a masterful work, the process is well publicized and followed within the House. As such, whenever a particularly noteworthy work is nearing completion there is often much excitement and speculation amongst the Wielders as to who will be allowed to wield such a weapon. Because of this anticipation, whenever the House decides that a weapon is worthy of enshrinement it causes significant frustration and disappointment amongst many of the Wielders. Some feel as though the Crafters are preventing Wielders from reaching their ultimate potential by holding back the most prestigious weapons from use.
